Senior Test Engineer

Seeking a Manual Tester with 3-5 years of experience in Motor and Health Insurance applications. Require strong expertise in functional testing, test case design/execution, defect management, and validation of end-to-end insurance business processes. Key Responsibilities Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and insurance workflows. Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data. Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT Support testing. Validate Motor Insurance processes including Quote, Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Renewals, Claims, Cancellations, and Vehicle Inspection journeys. Validate Health Insurance processes including Policy Administration, Member Enrollment, Pre-Authorization, Cashless/Reimbursement Claims, Renewals, and Portability. Log, track, retest, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders for requirement clarification and issue resolution. Develop positive and negative test scenarios and provide regular test execution status reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives. Required Skills 3-5 years of Manual Testing experience. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test design, and execution methodologies. Experience in Motor and/or Health Insurance domain. Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools. Expertise in Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and UAT support. Good understanding of policy lifecycle and claims management processes. Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools. Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements. Experience with QMetry, TestRail, ALM
