Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Surat (On Site) Experience: 1 to 3 Years Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary We are looking for a detail oriented QA Engineer with experience in testing ERP systems, web applications, mobile applications, and websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, defect tracking, test documentation, and ensuring high quality software releases. Experience in automation testing will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities - Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare effective test strategies. - Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. - Perform manual testing for ERP systems, web applications, mobile applications (Android and iOS), and responsive websites. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, usability, and cross browser testing. - Identify, document, track, and verify bugs using bug tracking tools. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues. - Validate APIs using tools like Postman. - Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release testing. - Ensure software meets business requirements before deployment. - Perform exploratory testing and provide quality improvement suggestions. - Maintain detailed testing documentation and reports. Required Skills - 1 to 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. - Hands on experience testing ERP applications, web applications, websites, and mobile applications. - Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Experience writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports. - Knowledge of SQL for basic database validation. - Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing using Postman. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently as well as within an Agile team. Preferred Skills - Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools. - Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is a plus. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git. - Experience testing cloud based SaaS applications. - Basic understanding of security and performance testing. - Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies. Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Mandatory Requirements - Experience testing ERP systems is required. - Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and websites is mandatory. - Strong manual testing skills are required. - Automation testing experience is highly preferred. - Candidate must be willing to work on site from our Surat office. - Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
