Job Description
1. Strategic Program & Transformation Leadership - Program Governance: Establish and maintain organizational standards for program delivery, ensuring that technical excellence, security-by-design, and operational reliability are embedded in every project. - Platform & Data modernization & standardization program management : Establish program roadmap working closely with engineering leadership, technical architects, product , business & vendors and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs including but not limited to cloud migrations and optimizations , Data Transformation Initiatives. 2. Engineering Operations & Governance - Operating Mechanisms : Establish and refine the "Rhythm of Business" (RoB) for the engineering organization, including monthly operational reviews, quarterly planning (OKRs), and executive status reporting. - Resource & Capacity Modeling : Lead complex capacity planning exercises to ensure engineering talent is aligned with the highest-priority strategic initiatives. - Agile Maturity : Acting as a "Coach of Coaches," elevating the maturity of Agile practices across distributed teams. Standardize Scrum frameworks while allowing for team-level autonomy. - Ceremony Excellence : Supporting high-stakes ceremonies, including multi-team Big Room Planning, Scrum-of-Scrums, and AI-augmented Backlog Refinement sessions to identify cross-program dependencies. - Incident Governance : Partner with SRE and DevOps teams to define and enforce Incident Management protocols. Oversee the lifecycle of critical (P0/P1) incidents, ensuring rapid restoration of services. - Post-Mortem Culture : Enabling a "blame-free" post-mortem culture. Ensure that Root Cause Analysis (RCA) leads to actionable backlog items that prevent recurrence and improve system hardening. 3. Cross-Functional Technical Orchestration - Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, and Business Operations. Translate complex technical trade-offs into clear business risks and opportunities for executive leadership. - Dependency Management: Proactively identify and resolve "hidden" bottlenecks across distributed teams. Manage complex interdependencies in multi-cloud and hybrid environments to ensure seamless integration. - Vendor & SaaS Integration: Orchestrating the technical integration of third-party SaaS platforms and managed services, ensuring they meet internal security, performance, and data governance standards. 3. Technical Strategy & Architecture Alignment - Systems Thinking: Partner with Architects to ensure program milestones align with technical standards. Provide "architectural judgment" to prevent technical debt and ensure scalability. 4. Risk Management & Predictive Planning - Advanced Risk Mitigation: Overseeing proactive risk management framework for zero non-compliance and/or overdues. Required Qualifications ( Mandatory ) - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. - Experience: 15 20 years of progressive experience in Technical Program Management, with at least 5 years in a Principal or Lead capacity within a large-scale Software Engineering organization. - Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse technical and non-technical stakeholder groups. - Tooling: Expert-level proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and advanced roadmap visualization tools. Familiarity with AI-assisted project management tools is a plus. - Soft Skills: Superior communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to maintain clarity and direction in highly ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
