You'll work alongside experienced engineers and learn how large language models, recommender systems, and other AI solutions enhance the workplace. **In this role you will...** + Design,develop, and deploy production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systemsusing modern LLM frameworks. + Buildand optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions forenterprise-scale applications. + Developintelligent workflows involving planning, reasoning, memory management,tool calling, and function calling. + Designand implement scalable backend services and REST APIs using Pythonframeworks such as FastAPI.IntegrateLLMs with enterprise systems, vector databases, APIs, and external tools. + DeployAI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS,Azure, or GCP. + OptimizeAI systems for latency, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. + Buildevaluation pipelines to measure retrieval quality, response relevance,hallucination rates, and overall LLM performance. + Implementsemantic search, hybrid search, reranking, embedding pipelines, and vectordatabase integrations. + Establishobservability, monitoring, logging, and tracing for AI applications usingindustry-standard tools. + Collaboratewith product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and platformteams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions. + Mentorjunior engineers and promote AI engineering best practices, codingstandards, and architectural excellence. + Stayup to date with emerging advancements in LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and AIinfrastructure. **You've got what it takes if you have...** + Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, MachineLearning, or a related technical field. + 6+years of overall software engineering experience. + Minimum3 years of hands-on experience building AI/Generative AI applicationsusing Large Language Models (LLMs). + Minimum3 years of experience developing scalable backend software and distributedsystems. + Strongproficiency in Java and Python and modern software engineering principles. + Hands-onexperience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph,LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc. + Experiencedesigning and implementing production-grade RAG systems,including embedding models, semantic search, hybrid search, reranking, andvector databases. + Experiencewith vector databases such as Milvus, Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch,Elasticsearch, FAISS, or ChromaDB. + Experienceintegrating and deploying applications using LLMs such as OpenAI GPT,Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, Amazon Nova, or Azure OpenAI. + Strongexperience building REST APIs using FastAPI or similar Pythonframeworks. + Experiencewith containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker andKubernetes. + Experiencedeploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. + Familiaritywith CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices. + Experiencewith AI evaluation, prompt engineering, observability, and monitoringtools such as LangSmith, Langfuse, MLflow, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus,or Grafana. + Strongunderstanding of software architecture, microservices, asynchronousprogramming, and distributed systems. + Excellentproblem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the abilityto work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. **\#LI-Onsite** Equal Employment Opportunity has been, and will continue to be, a fundamental commitment at Cornerstone OnDemand.
