J ob Description We are looking to hire an experienced iOS developer to architect, build, and scale the next generation of mobile applications. You will take ownership of application architecture and technical decisions, working closely with design, backend, and product teams to deliver high-quality, performant products. This role expects a strong sense of engineering judgment, the ability to make sound architectural trade-offs independently, and a track record of mentoring junior engineers. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and we're looking for someone who can both execute at a high bar and elevate the team around them. Responsibilities - Own the technical architecture of iOS applications, making informed trade-offs between performance, scalability, and maintainability - Translate designs and wireframes into pixel-perfect, high-quality, production-ready code - Drive the entire application lifecycle — concept, architecture, design, development, testing, release, and support - Write robust unit and integration tests, and champion testing best practices across the team - Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and technologies that improve development velocity and product quality - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and provide technical leadership within the team - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (design, backend, product) to define feasible, scalable solutions - Troubleshoot and resolve complex, ambiguous production issues with strong root-cause analysis Skills and Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in product development, with demonstrated ownership of architecture and design decisions - Proven expertise in pixel-perfect implementation of complex designs - Strong experience defining system architectures and evaluating technical feasibility trade-offs independently - proficiency in UI framework like UIKit and SwiftUI - Deep knowledge of iOS architectural components and design patterns - Strong command of iOS frameworks across multiple iOS versions, with experience handling diverse screen sizes and device capabilities - Solid expertise in REST API integration, JSON handling, and designing resilient network layers - Hands-on experience with third-party SDK integration via CocoaPods, SPM, or Carthage - Proficiency in storage, multithreading, and performance tuning/profiling (Instruments, memory management, etc.) - Working knowledge of modern iOS development practices — Swift (5.2+), Combine and Swift Concurrency. CoreData, Property Wrappers, OperationQueue, and exposure to KMP is a plus - Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and data structure fundamentals - Experience mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices within a team - Comfortable working in agile environments as a self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight
