As a Pricing Technology QA-Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing client needs and developing customer-centric solutions to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will specialize in pricing strategies and profitability analysis, offering guidance to optimize pricing models and maximize customer value. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building meaningful client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of a team that transforms how clients engage with their customers through strategy, operations, and technology. You will contribute to the design and implementation of Trade Promotion Management solutions using Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, helping clients modernize their sales, marketing, and customer service functions. Your work will involve managing development cycles, facilitating change management, and delivering long-term engagements. Responsibilities Functional Understanding & Test Preparation - Review user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, functional design documents, and configuration specifications. - Participate in requirement refinement, sprint planning, test planning, and defect triage discussions. - Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into clear, structured, and executable test scenarios and test cases. - Identify positive, negative, boundary, regression, and edge-case scenarios to ensure complete functional coverage. - Understand pricing concepts such as price lists, discount rules, approvals, hierarchies, agreements, rebates, promotions, and governance controls. Pricefx (Or any other Pricing Tool) Functional Testing - Execute functional testing to validate that Pricefx development and configuration are completed correctly as per approved user stories. - Test pricing logic, workflows, validations, calculations, UI behavior, dashboards, data tables, agreements, and approval processes. - Validate end-to-end business scenarios across Pricefx modules, including inputs, processing, outputs, error handling, and user experience. - Confirm that configuration changes meet business expectations and do not impact existing functionality unexpectedly. - Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, smoke testing, and release validation cycles. Data, Integration & Analytics Validation - Validate inbound and outbound data flows for pricing master data, customer/product hierarchies, agreements, rebates, price lists, and commercial conditions. - Verify data mappings, transformations, calculations, and validations across integrated systems. - Support reconciliation between source systems, Pricefx data sources, and reporting outputs. - Test analytics outputs, dashboards, and KPIs for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business definitions. - Identify data quality issues, missing records, incorrect calculations, and mismatches between expected and actual outputs. Defect Management & Quality Control - Log clear and complete defects with steps to reproduce, screenshots, test data, expected results, actual results, severity, and business impact. - Work with developers, functional consultants, and data/integration teams to clarify defects and support root cause analysis. - Retest resolved defects and confirm whether fixes are working correctly. - Track open defects, blocked scenarios, dependencies, and testing risks. - Support defect triage by explaining the functional issue, business impact, and priority. Documentation & Delivery Support - Prepare and maintain test cases, test scripts, test execution evidence, defect logs, and test summary inputs. - Assist with UAT preparation, test data setup, business user support, and hypercare validation. - Follow project testing standards, documentation guidelines, and delivery governance processes. - 2-5 years of experience in QA, functional testing, business testing, or application testing. - Experience testing enterprise applications, pricing systems, CPQ, ERP, CRM, or related commercial platforms. - Strong knowledge of test case design, test execution, defect lifecycle, regression testing, and SIT/UAT support. - Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test management platforms. - Strong analytical skills with ability to compare expected vs. actual system behavior. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred. - Prior experience with Pricefx or other pricing / revenue management platforms. - Experience testing pricing configuration, workflow approvals, dashboards, or data source tables. - Exposure to SQL, data validation, reconciliation testing, or integration testing. - Familiarity with ERP, CRM, CPQ, master data, or commercial operations processes. - Experience supporting UAT with business users and client stakeholders. - Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright, AI-assisted testing, or tools for test case generation and defect analysis. - Ability to work across distributed teams and multiple time zones. - What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 5 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Strong functional testing mindset with attention to detail. - Ability to understand intended business functionality and validate correct system implementation. - Analytical approach to data validation and business rule verification. - Clear communication of testing status, risks, blockers, and defects. - Collaboration across functional, development, data/integration, QA, and release teams. - Ownership mindset with focus on quality, completeness, and business outcomes.
