Job Description: Data Modelling Fundamentals - Strong experience in: - Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modelling - Entity Relationship (ER) Modelling - Relational Database Design - RDBMS concepts - Data Dictionary and Metadata Management - Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models and database schemas. - Strong understanding of data flows, dependencies, relationships, and lineage. Dimensional & Analytics Modelling - Hands-on experience with: - Dimensional Modelling - Star Schema - Snowflake Schema - Fact and Dimension modelling - Experience designing models for analytics and reporting solutions. Database Design & Optimization - Strong SQL proficiency. - Expertise in: - Normalization (1NF, 2NF, 3NF) - Indexing - Partitioning - Query optimization - Database performance tuning Cloud & Modern Data Architecture - Experience with at least one cloud data platform: - Snowflake (preferred) - AWS - Azure - GCP - Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers). Data Engineering & Governance - Experience with ETL/ELT processes. - Strong understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality principles. Data Modelling Tools - Hands-on experience with one or more: - Erwin - ER/Studio - SqlDBM - PowerDesigner
