Job Description We are seeking a Data Research Analyst to conduct internet-based research, collect and validate information, maintain high-quality datasets, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong research skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools. Research & Data Collection - Conduct primary research through internet-based sources, public databases, government websites, company websites, and other credible sources. - Gather, validate, and update information from multiple data sources. - Evaluate source credibility and ensure data accuracy. - Document research findings and maintain supporting references. Data Analysis & Reporting - Analyze and interpret datasets using Excel and other analytical tools. - Identify trends, patterns, inconsistencies, and missing information. Prepare reports, summaries, and data-driven insights for internal stakeholders. - Support ad-hoc research and business analysis requests. Data Quality & Data Management - Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. - Perform data cleansing, deduplication, standardization, and validation activities. - Maintain structured databases and repositories. - Follow established data governance and quality control procedures. Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve research processes and data management workflows. - Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Support automation initiatives and adoption of AI-powered research tools. - Recommend improvements to enhance productivity and data quality. Required SkillsResearch Skills - Strong internet research and information-gathering capabilities. - Understanding of research methodologies and source validation. - Ability to work with large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy. Data & Analytical Skills - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and data quality. - Ability to identify inconsistencies and validate information. - Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data. Technical Skills - Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning, Formulas). - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Familiarity with Google Workspace tools is a plus. - Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting. Technology & AI Skills - Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, or similar platforms. - Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies and software tools. - Strong technical aptitude and willingness to work with data-driven systems.
