Senior TCS BaNCS Functional-Technical Consultant

Description At Zensar Technologies Limited, we are seeking an experienced consultant to join our team and drive successful TCS BaNCS implementations. The consultant will act as a key liaison, bridging the gap between business and technical teams. With a focus on Core Banking, the role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, and providing production support for critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of functional banking knowledge and technical expertise, ensuring seamless operations and successful project deliveries. Responsibilities - Engage with business and operations teams to understand and document banking requirements. - Translate business needs into functional and technical TCS BaNCS solutions. - Support Core Banking implementations, including migration, upgrades, and rollouts. - Perform impact analysis and recommend system enhancements for optimal performance. - Drive testing activities (SIT, UAT) and ensure production readiness. - Coordinate with business users to resolve functional issues within agreed SLAs. - Provide support for regulatory, operational, and compliance-related banking requirements. - Manage application deployment, release management, and environment setup. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution. - Contribute to architecture reviews, solution design discussions, and overall project success. Qualifications - Extensive experience with TCS BaNCS Core Banking Platform and its functional & technical aspects. - Strong knowledge of Core Banking operations and banking product configuration. - Proficiency in production support, incident management, and Oracle Database. - Expertise in SQL/PLSQL for data analysis and issue resolution. - Experience with application deployment, release management, and Control-M Scheduler. - Familiarity with JBoss and IBM WebSphere Application Servers. - Understanding of Jira for project management and issue tracking. - Exposure to Java/Spring Boot, Unix Shell Scripting, and Git is preferred. - Experience in banking domain, including Retail and Corporate Banking, is essential. - Leadership experience in production support with distributed teams is an asset.
