Senior Test Analyst - Calypso

Position Description: Job Title: Senior Calypso QA Analyst Position: Senior Calypso QA Analyst Experience: 6 + Years Category: Quality Engineering Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Work Mode: 5-day Work from office Primary location: India, Telangana, Hyderabad CGI Office: DLF Hyderabad Position ID: J0626-0730 Employment Type: Full Time Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Calypso QA Engineer with strong expertise in capital markets and post-trade workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end Calypso functionalities, ensuring accurate trade processing, and maintaining high-quality delivery across modules. Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsibilities: Test Planning & Design . Analyze business and functional requirements related to Calypso workflows. . Design and develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios for: Trade lifecycle, Settlements, Reconciliations and Reporting modules Test Execution . Execute manual and automated test cases across Calypso modules, including: BO Messages, Transfers, Scheduled Tasks, Reports . Validate Straight Through Processing (STP) workflows across various asset classes. . Ensure accuracy in trade processing from front-to-back office systems. Defect Management . Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), or HP ALM. . Work closely with development and business teams to analyze issues and validate fixes. . Perform regression testing to ensure defect resolution stability. Environment & Data Management . Prepare and maintain test environments for QA cycles. . Handle test data setup across multiple asset classes, including: Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives . Support UAT, SIT, and regression cycles. Documentation & Reporting . Maintain accurate test documentation: Test plans, Test cases, Execution reports and Defect logs . Provide regular updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and risks to stakeholders. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Must-Have Skills: . Strong hands-on experience in Calypso testing, especially in post-trade / back-office workflows. . Solid understanding of Capital markets, Trade lifecycle management, STP processes and Settlements and reconciliation . Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good-to-Have Skills: . Exposure to multiple asset classes and cross-functional systems. . Experience in automation frameworks for regression testing. . Understanding of financial messaging (SWIFT, ISO formats). Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
