Head Plant Quality

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Plant Quality to lead all quality assurance and control functions at our Bethora manufacturing facility in Goa. This plant is a key asset, manufacturing high-quality Induction Motor Fans and BLDC Ceiling Fans. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for establishing a robust Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all products meet the highest national and international standards, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the production floor. He will act as the ultimate guardian of product quality, managing a team and collaborating closely with production, engineering, Service and R&D. Role & responsibilities: - QMS Ownership: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS compliant with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001) for both Induction Motor and BLDC fan manufacturing. - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Inspection teams. Lead team for Supplier Quality, In process Quality, Product Quality, Customer Quality and NPD QUality - Process Excellence: Drive Zero-Defect initiatives and implement statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles to minimize rework, scrap, and warranty claims. - Compliance & Audits: Ensure all products meet necessary regulatory standards (e.g., BIS, BEE) and successfully manage all internal and external quality audits. - Customer Satisfaction: Analyze customer feedback and warranty data to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) that lead to measurable improvements in product reliability. - Hell be responsible to Improve key indicators of PPR (Customer complaint Ratio) and CoPQ for Bethora plant Preferred candidate profile: - Technical Expertise: A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics preferred) - Industry Specifics: Proven leadership experience (minimum 10+ years) in Quality Management within the Electrical/Electronics or Consumer Durables manufacturing sector. Experience with motor-driven products (especially BLDC technology) is a significant advantage. - Must have hands on Experience in conducting root cause analysis, Supplier development. - Location: Willingness to relocate to or work in the Bethora, Goa area.
