Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (API Testing)

Role – Sr Automation Testing Skillset: Selenium + API automation (Rest Assured ) Location : Gurugram / Noida (We are looking for Noida location as well ). Shift Timing s: 2pm -1 1pm Job Summ ary:We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive automation lead with 6-12 years of experience in software testing, including leadership in test strategy, automation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through advanced testing techniques, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with cross-functional te ams. Key Responsibili - ties:Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software sys - tems.Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical challe - nges.Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scr - ipts.Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tes - ting.Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality rele - ases.Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodolo - gies.Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insi - ghts.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applic able. Required S - kills: 6-12 years of experience in software automation testing, with a strong experience in Rest Assured wit - h Java.Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium(java), or s - imilar.Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java prefe - rable).Experience with API testing tools (preferable: REST Assured), postman, ReadyAP - I etc.,Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure - DevOps.Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodo - logies.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifi - cations:ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certif - ication.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azur - e, GCP).Experience in domains preferably Airline s domain
