Business Manager (COO’s Office) _ Mumbai

Role Overview The Business Manager will act as a strategic and execution partner to the COO, driving key organizational priorities and ensuring alignment across functions. The role requires a consulting- oriented professional with strong analytical and execution capabilities to oversee Administration, Operations, IT Ops, and MIS, while leading critical initiatives such as entity formation, integration, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities ● Strategic Execution: Support COO in translating strategy into actionable plans; track and drive execution of key initiatives. ● Operations Oversight: Oversee Administration, Operations, IT Ops, and MIS to ensure alignment, efficiency, and governance. ● MIS & Reporting: Build and manage dashboards, drive data-driven insights, and standardize performance reporting. ● Entity Formation & Integration: Lead setup of new entities and ensure seamless integration into existing structures and systems. Coordination with US project management team to drive transformation, change management and functional integration project. ● Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-efficiency initiatives across functions while maintaining performance. ● COO Office Support: Prepare leadership decks, reviews, and executive communication; ensure follow-through on decisions. ● Cross-functional Coordination: Drive alignment across Finance, IT and Operations; ensure execution discipline. Candidate Profile ● MBA / CA from a reputed institution with strategic and Governance mindset. ● 8-10 years’ experience; management consulting background preferred (Big4 / Tier 1) ● Strong experience in strategy, operations, transformation, or COO/CEO office roles ● Exposure to multi-functional environments and transformation initiatives Skills & Attributes ● Structured problem-solving and strong analytical skills ● High ownership with execution focus ● Strong stakeholder management and communication skills ● Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity ● Strong business acumen and attention to detail
