BPI Data Engineer

Develop and maintain event-driven publishers that stream inventory changes (devices, cards, ports, shelves) to Kafka with enrichment and content-based routing Build ETL pipelines that reconcile device data between enterprise systems (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), detecting gaps and staging records for ingestion Contribute to React-based dashboards with interactive visualizations (Plotly/Sankey charts) for migration tracking and fallout analysis Design data mapping strategies across systems with different schemas, naming conventions, and identifier formats Work with Kubernetes deployments, GitLab CI/CD, and Helm charts Tech stack: Python ( FastAPI, pymongo, SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, oracledb) PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle Kafka (producer patterns, topic routing) React, Material UI, Plotly.js Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab CI Git, property-based testing (Hypothesis) 3+ years building data pipelines or backend services in Python Solid SQL skills across multiple databases Experience with at least one message broker (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
