Lead Data Management & Analytics Specialist

Summary: The Company utilizes quantitative methods such as business simulations, data mining, modeling, and advanced statistical techniques to solve problems. The Lead Data Specialist provides data management, analysis, and insights within the Aftermarket Sales & Services Deployment team to support aftermarket growth commitments and reporting. The mission of the Aftermarket Sales & Services Deployment team is to enable services growth goals by ambitiously transforming the way we serve our customers, providing insights to deliver outstanding customer experience, and serving as a source for execution and strategic planning to drive tool and service adoption and sales to users' growth. Responsibilities: - Work directly on complex problems and provide solutions aligned with overall objectives. - Perform all necessary data-related tasks, including data design, data quality, metadata management, data governance, or data architecture. - Lead and evaluate business requirements impacting the enterprise, dealership partners, and other internal and external customers. - Liaise with data creators to support project planning, training, guidance on standards, and the efficient creation/maintenance of high-quality data. - Contribute to policies, procedures, and standards as well as technical requirements. - Create the data management strategy and define continuous improvement goals of data quality, governance, and processes. - Lead communication across various lines of businesses and technology partners to monitor, collect, review, and roadmap business data requirements, and related technology solutions. - Ensure compliance with the latest data standards supported by the company, brand, legal, and information security (data security and privacy compliance). - Lead the functional technology of the data management systems as they change with upgrades and new releases. - Maintain existing data quality scorecard measurements, execute scorecards, and resolve exceptions with data owners and source systems. - Design robust, scalable database and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) solutions. - Lead the development of new data models for domains to be deployed including a logical data model, candidate source lists, and canonical formats. - Lead the ETL & data ingestion specifications, identifying source systems and solving technical and administrative problems during the ETL process. - Lead data object pipeline specifications including detailed field-level mapping, business rules, data quality rules, etc. - Create, update, and enhance metadata policies, processes, and catalogs. - Drive alignment and coordination of data governance efforts. Requirements: - 7 to 9 years of experience in analytics positions. Required Skills: - Proven experience leading the implementation of information processing and operation standards to protect and manage information assets. - Consult on information architecture concepts, disciplines, and practices. - Experience working with specific cloud service models such as AWS or Azure for Platform as a Service (PaaS). - Carry out tasks, under supervision, to increase capacity or add capabilities through cloud computing. - Proven experience creating complex queries working with SQL. - Proven experience working with ETL tools such as Talend and Alteryx. - Proven experience working with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
