Senior Python QA/Automation Specialist

Job Summary : As a Sr. QA/Automation specialist, take accountability of quality & automation for large scale web application on non-desktop environment. This includes multiple modules, understanding the bigger picture of system, QA process being followed in the system, communication with multiple stake holders, work as individual contributor on complex activities like creating Testing / Automation strategy, leading high potential team, focus to continuously add value in terms of SW Quality / Process efficiency along with the team by developing potential QA/automation solutions and collaborate with other stake holders to bring in best practices to the team Primary Skills - Good experience in leading QA & Automation for large scale applications/systems with strong knowledge on the domain, ability to zoom in and zoom out on the features from end user perspective as well as Tester perspective - Experience in working with large scale automation system including frameworks/tools & handling of CI/CD pipelines - Experience in full stack testing (UI / API / Integration) with exposure to different testing methodologies - Strong know-how on Python to be able to understand automation frameworks (like PyTest based) & bring in improvement - Being Self-driven, Take accountability and ownership of problems to achieve team goals & ability to collaborate across different teams - Cultivate innovation and drive the team to propose and implement new solutions that can add value to business and customers. - Coordinate with module leads and cross teams to drive progress / improvements as required and communication with leadership across different functions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good to have Skills - Experience in DevOps - Experience in Agile process Responsibilities and Duties - Accountable for QA/Automation of large scale application with multiple integrated modules - Understand the existing automation system end to end and come up with improvements in the testing process / automation strategies - Work closely with development teams & strategize QA/Automation for different kind of new features to be tested - Develop radical solutions to ensure continuous improvement of Quality/efficiency for every release cycles - Drive the team to ensure quality of delivery & achieve improvement KPIs - Communicate effectively to different stake holders on the project progress at different time lines (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly etc.,) - Collaborate with clients, other managers, team leads to resolve any team blockers and bring up best practices, solutions - Responsible for building innovation culture in the team and drive team to bring up new solutions to improve the quality and efficiency - Support Senior Managers in preparing short term & long term project goals as aligned to organizational directions, drive the team to realize the goals - Ready to work with teams in US & attend nightly meetings
