Network Admin

Monitoring, administration, configuration & troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN, Network appliances (Switches, Routers and Firewalls) & Communication Links (ILL, MPLS & P2P links). Attend and resolve related issues. • Performs daily monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, resources, systems, key processes, reviewing system, application & appliance logs, verifying completion of scheduled jobs. Take corrective action in timely manner. • Network appliances (Switches, Routers and Firewalls) Backup & restoration. • Perform installations, patches, upgrades, capacity planning and performance tuning. • Support day to day network operations & drive / support Network projects • Install, maintain and troubleshoot network equipment, perform fault and problem management • Troubleshooting on various layers (i.e. Access, Distribution, WLAN, Perimeter layer and at MPLS end) in case of slowness/network down issue reported from processes and identify the root cause. • Vendor coordination and DC operations engagement. • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users. • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users. • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security design. • Experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex networks. • Experience in Cisco & HP Switches, Fortinet and Sophos devices. • Good understanding of structured cabling standards. • Ensure services are maintained according to the Contract scope • Flexibility to work on shifts and weekend/off-hours support to ensure 24/7 availability of Network Infrastructure. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
