Designation – DGM - S&OP & Supply Chain Planning Reporting to – Head of Supply Chain Department – Supply Chain Management Work Days - Mon to Sat (6 days working) Office Timings - Day Shift – 9 AM to 5.30 PM Location – Hyderabad – Financial District - Nanakramguda Experience – 8–12 years in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning or S&OP, including at least 3–4 years leading the S&OP process. Industry/ Sector – Large Retail, Pharmacy or FMCG network Qualification - Graduate/Post Graduate from a Tier 2/ Tier 3 Institute Role Summary Own and drive the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process end-to-end across 24×7/Online, Retail (7,000+ stores), Distribution Centers, and Category (Pharma & FMCG) teams. Build the organization's demand forecasting and planning capability, including ML-based forecasting, and lead the evaluation and implementation of the right ERP/planning systems in partnership with Technology. Key Responsibilities • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end monthly S&OP cycle — Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP Reconciliation, and Executive S&OP — across Retail, 24×7/Online, DC, and Category functions. • Build and govern machine learning-based demand forecasting models (SKU × store cluster × channel), improving forecast accuracy (WMAPE) and reducing bias over time. • Own the Growth Target & Category Trend process, Warehouse/DC procurement commitments, Retail Ops & 24×7 Ops scorecards, and the Manual Intervention Accountability framework (ROL/ROQ override efficiency, manual purchase ratio, store indent efficiency, dark-store addition ROI). • Set up and run the Control Tower for real-time exception management, ensuring Critical/High-severity breaks are resolved within SLA and fed back into the monthly cycle. • Partner with Technology to evaluate, select, and implement the right ERP/supply chain planning system, translating business requirements — multi-tier planning, ROL/ROQ automation, DC allocation — into system specifications. • Drive cross-functional accountability, holding Category, DC, Retail Ops, and Marketing teams to the numbers they commit to in the S&OP cycle. • Own and present the monthly Executive S&OP deck, driving leadership to specific, binding decisions rather than a status update. Requirements • Hands-on experience building or directly overseeing ML-based forecasting models — time series, regression, or ensemble methods for demand forecasting — not just using out-of-the-box vendor tools. • Strong working knowledge of ERP / supply chain planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, o9, Kinaxis, Oracle, or equivalent), with experience partnering with Technology teams on system selection and implementation. • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes spanning retail store networks, DCs, and category/merchandising teams. • Strong executive communication skills — comfortable presenting to CXOs and driving decisions in cross-functional forums. • Experience in Omni-Channel (online + offline) retail preferred; pharmacy or healthcare retail experience is a plus.
