Senior Full-Stack Developer (AI & Automation focus)

This is a remote position. Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Developer (AI & Automation focus) Type: 3-Month Contract Location: Remote Start Date: End of October 2026 About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong AI and Machine Learning capabilities to take end-to-end technical ownership of an automated recruitment platform MVP. You will work directly with the Product Lead to translate business logic and system requirements into a production-ready, highly reliable system. This engagement is a 3-month full-time build, followed by a 4-week pilot support phase and light, ongoing troubleshooting as needed. Key Responsibilities - Architect and build the backend, database, and internal operational interfaces. - Integrate AI/LLM models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) for structured document processing, CV parsing, and candidate matching. - Build automated webhooks, custom API integrations, and async workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n, Make, or custom code). - Implement email sequencing integrations, inbound response handling, and automated candidate outreach pipelines. - Ensure data security, error handling, PII compliance, and system monitoring across the pipeline. Requirements Required Qualifications - 6+ years of commercial experience in full-stack software development. - Backend Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Node.js/TypeScript and modern web frameworks. - Database Design: Proven experience with SQL/PostgreSQL schema modeling and API architectures. - AI & Automation: Demonstrated experience integrating LLM APIs, vector search/embeddings, and workflow engines. - Pragmatic Mindset: Ability to pick the simplest, most reliable tools over complex, over-engineered architectures to hit tight deadlines.
