Summary Position Summary Senior, Tax Services Join Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited and help clients improve cross-border trade operations through Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions. This role focuses on leading end-to-end GTM programs, including solution design, compliance controls, integrations, and governance. You will help translate global trade policy into scalable Oracle GTM configurations, workflows, and operating processes that support compliant and efficient trade execution. Work you'll do As a Senior, Tax Services on the Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) team, you will be responsible for: - Own the Oracle GTM workstream across discovery, design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare, and manage day-to-day priorities, dependencies, delivery quality, scope, RAID, estimates, and status reporting. - Define end-to-end trade architecture across Oracle GTM and connected enterprise systems, and translate policy and regulatory requirements into enforceable controls, workflows, and audit-ready traceability. - Lead Oracle GTM solution design and oversight across restricted party screening, sanctions and export controls, classification, origin, valuation, license management, free trade agreement and preference programs, documentation, landed cost, and exception handling. - Lead integration design, trade master data governance, reconciliation, monitoring, and control evidence across ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS, PIM, PLM, and external providers. - Own testing strategy, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, hypercare, training materials, operating model design, governance cadence, and KPI alignment. The team Deloitte’s Oracle and global trade transformation teams help organizations improve trade compliance, customs readiness, and cross-border operations through technology-enabled solutions. The team works across compliance, supply chain, finance, legal, and technology stakeholders to design scalable operating models, controls, and integrations that support accuracy, efficiency, and auditability. Professionals in this area support complex transformation programs involving Oracle GTM, connected enterprise platforms, data governance, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune Qualifications Required: - 8-12+ years of experience in global trade or compliance technology delivery, including 3-6+ years in Oracle Global Trade Management implementation leadership. - Experience leading at least one full lifecycle Oracle Global Trade Management implementation or major transformation. - Experience with restricted party screening, sanctions or embargo controls, import or export compliance, export controls, Harmonized System or Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification, country of origin, valuation, licensing controls, or free trade agreement and preference concepts. - Experience translating legal or compliance policy into system rules, workflows, and measurable controls. - Experience with estimates, RAID management, quality gates, and executive-ready status communication. - Experience with integration design across APIs, flat files, middleware, mapping, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation. - Experience leading data migration, data conversion, and validation activities. Preferred: - Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, supply chain management, Oracle Transportation Management, or Oracle Integration Cloud. - SQL or data analysis capability. - Experience with broker or filing provider integrations and customs data handoff patterns. - Experience building global templates with localized compliance extensions. - Experience supporting audit requirements, control evidence, and traceability. - Prior consulting lead experience across multi-client or multi-program delivery.
