Job Description We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with experience in either UI automation or performance testing. This position will be full-time and Hybrid from Bengaluru. What You'll Do: - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools - Contribute to automation strategy, ensuring maximum coverage and reusability - Perform manual testing for new features, exploratory testing, and edge cases not suitable for automation - Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data - Ensure regression coverage through automation, reducing manual effort over time - Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for continuous testing - Execute test cycles, log defects, and drive defect closure with dev teams - Perform API validation and basic automation where applicable - Conduct performance testing using JMeter and provide insights - Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting - Continuously identify opportunities to shift-left and improve quality processes What You'll Need Required: - Strong hands-on experience in UI Automation, with preference for Playwright expertise - Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript - Solid experience in manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory,smoke) - Experience with Azure DevOps / CI-CD integration - Good understanding of test design techniques and defect lifecycle - Experience in performance testing using JMeter - Strong debugging and analytical skill - Experience in API automation/testin - Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc - Experience in test reporting dashboards / QA metrics - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices Preferred - Strong communication skills with ability to articulate risks, defects, and quality insights - Ability to collaborate across Dev, Product, and QA teams - Ownership-driven mindset with focus on quality and delivery Physical Demands - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions - Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. - Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Reasonable accommodation statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111.
