Lead Engineer - Test Automation

- Architect develop robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and methodologies to ensure software quality at scale. - Lead collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, and project managers) to define and execute quality assurance initiatives. - Define Drive release planning by setting software readiness criteria and ensuring seamless production deployment. - Improve Testing Efficiency by identifying pain points, providing technical guidance, and automating key workflows. - Create Maintain test cases, test scripts, and regression suites across functional, performance, security, and NFR testing. - Perform Root Cause Analysis for complex issues and work closely with the engineering team for resolutions. - Stay Ahead of Industry Trends and incorporate best practices in QA, test automation, and DevOps-driven testing. - Define Key Metrics for software quality, tracking test effectiveness, defect trends, and continuous improvement areas. Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in Software Development in Test (SDET). - Hands-on experience in test automation, scripting, and no-code tool creation. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C++, Angular, React, or any modern OOP language. - Proven experience in leading QA efforts for medium to large-scale projects. - Deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD processes. - Experience in Analytics Automation, Performance Engineering, and open-source security tools (preferably ZAP). - Experience working on scalable applications, multithreading environments, and MVC architecture. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Patrol (Flutter-based automation), Appium, Espresso, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks. - Ability to define test plans, quality metrics, and test strategies at an enterprise scale. - Strong collaboration skills with development and DevOps teams on automation and CI/CD integration. - Experience working with external SDET teams to define test expectations and execution plans.
