Founding Engineer

About the Role This position is designed for a generalist engineer who has experience shipping B2B SaaS features in a startup environment. You will work across the full stack using TypeScript and Postgres while managing cloud systems and modern development tools to build products from the ground up. The role requires a fast-paced approach to problem-solving and a desire to own features from conception to deployment. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore with a compensation of 20 LPA. What You'll Do - Build and ship production-ready B2B SaaS features. - Own features from design through deployment. - Develop full-stack applications using TypeScript. - Design and optimize Postgres databases. - Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms. - Collaborate closely with product and design teams. - Use modern development tools and AI-assisted coding workflows to improve engineering velocity. Required Skills - Full-stack software engineering experience in an early-stage startup. - Experience shipping production features used by real customers. - Strong proficiency with TypeScript. - Strong understanding of Postgres and relational database design. - Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications. - Familiarity with modern coding tools and AI-assisted development workflows. Preferred Background - 1–2 years of experience after graduation or equivalent startup internship. - Experience at Seed or Series A startups. - Comfortable taking ownership with minimal supervision. - Passion for building products in fast-paced startup environments. Must-Haves - Early-stage startup experience. - Full-stack engineering background. - TypeScript expertise. - Postgres expertise. - Cloud systems knowledge. - Experience shipping production features to real users.
