Automation Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer – Automation Experience: 6–12 Years Location: Bangalor e Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Automati on to enhance our software quality through robust automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise i n Selenium, Python, and BDD framewor ks, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks . Mandatory Skills: - Selenium WebDriver - Python - BDD Frameworks (Cucumber / Behave / SpecFlow or similar) Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maint ain test automation framew orks using Selenium and Python. - Implem ent BDD appr oach for test scenarios using tools like Cucumber or Behave. - Write clear, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team to understand requirements. - Execute automated test suites and analyze results. - Report and track defects with proper documentation. - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integra tion for automated testing. - Perform UI, functional, and regression testing. - Ensure high test coverage and continuous quality improvement. Preferred Skills - Experience with API te sting (Postman, Requests, REST Assured) - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) - Knowledg e of Agile/Scrum methodologies - Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports) - Understandin g of Git/version control Skills: Selenium Webdriver, Python Experience: 6.00-12.00 Years
