we are looking for an Oil and Gas Field Inspector ensures drilling production and transportation facilities comply with safety environmental and regulatory standards They conduct field inspections test equipment sample products and investigate potential hazards This role involves identifying equipment failure risks and documenting findings in detailed reports Key Responsibilities Field Inspections Routinely examine drilling equipment pipelines and storage tanks for structural integrity corrosion or leaks Safety Compliance Enforce state federal laws and company protocols responding to safety hazards like well blowouts Product Sampling Testing Perform witness or verify the sampling of petroleum products for laboratory analysis e g density flashpoint Risk Assessment Identify potential equipment failures and evaluate environmental hazards Reporting Generate detailed reports regarding inspection findings and recommend corrective actions Quantity Determination Measure quantities of products in shore tanks vessels or trucks
