Zoho Solutions Consultant (Creator, Inventory, widgets and extensions )

This is a remote position. Zoho Developer / Solutions Consultant – Creator, Inventory, APIs & Widgets About the Role We are looking for a technically strong and solution-oriented Zoho Developer / Solutions Consultant to join our Zoho implementation and technology team. This is a development-focused consulting role for someone who enjoys solving real business problems using the Zoho ecosystem. You will work with clients to understand their requirements, design solutions and build them using Zoho Creator, Zoho Inventory, Deluge, REST APIs, webhooks, JavaScript, widgets and extensions . This is not a purely functional implementation role. You will be expected to determine whether a requirement can be solved using standard Zoho functionality, automation, custom development, APIs, widgets, extensions or a custom Creator application. Key Responsibilities Solution Consulting Understand client business processes, conduct requirement discussions, identify gaps and translate business requirements into practical Zoho solutions. Participate in solution design, client discussions, demonstrations, UAT and technical problem-solving, while explaining solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Zoho Creator & Deluge Development Design and develop Zoho Creator applications including forms, reports, pages, workflows, custom functions, permissions, automation and data structures. Develop and maintain Deluge scripts for business logic, automation, scheduled functions, data manipulation, custom functions and integrations. Zoho Inventory Work with Zoho Inventory processes covering items, customers, vendors, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, bills, packages, shipments, warehouses and stock movement. Develop custom automation and integrations around Inventory processes. Experience with Inventory APIs, widgets and extensions will be an advantage. APIs & Integrations Design and develop integrations using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and OAuth/authentication mechanisms . Integrate Zoho with external applications such as ERP systems, websites, marketplaces, logistics platforms, payment systems and other business applications. Work with Custom APIs where business logic needs to be exposed to external systems. Zoho Creator supports exposing Deluge functions through Custom APIs. (help.zoho.com) Widgets & Extensions Develop custom Zoho Creator and Inventory widgets using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Work with widget APIs/SDKs to create customised user interfaces and functionality beyond standard Zoho capabilities. Zoho Creator supports JavaScript-based widgets and JS APIs for interacting with application data. (help.zoho.com) Testing & Support Perform development and integration testing, support UAT, troubleshoot Deluge, APIs, webhooks, widgets and integrations, and support deployment and production issues. Technical Skills Mandatory Zoho Creator: Forms, reports, pages, workflows, custom functions, automation and application development. Deluge: Strong hands-on scripting experience, including custom functions, workflows, data manipulation, API calls and debugging. APIs & Integrations: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, webhooks, OAuth and third-party integrations. JavaScript / HTML / CSS: Working knowledge for custom UI and widget development. Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot Deluge scripts, APIs, integrations, webhooks and JavaScript-based components. Strongly Preferred Zoho Inventory: Hands-on understanding of inventory, sales, purchasing, warehouse and transaction processes. Creator Widgets: Experience with Zoho Creator Widgets and JS APIs. Inventory Widgets & Extensions: Experience with Zoho Inventory widgets, Web SDK or extensions. Good to Have Git/GitHub/GitLab, React, Vue.js, Node.js, advanced API integrations and experience working across multiple Zoho applications. Key Result Areas Solution Delivery: Deliver scalable and maintainable Zoho solutions within agreed timelines and scope. Custom Development: Build reliable Creator applications, Deluge functions, APIs, integrations, widgets and extensions. Process Automation: Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve business efficiency through automation. Integration Quality: Develop secure, reliable and well-structured integrations with appropriate authentication, data mapping and error handling. Client Satisfaction: Understand the actual business problem and deliver solutions that meet client expectations. Quality & Support: Ensure appropriate testing, documentation, troubleshooting and smooth production handover. Requirements Implementation Partner Experience We strongly prefer candidates who have worked for a Zoho implementation partner, consulting organisation or system integrator rather than candidates whose experience has primarily been limited to managing Zoho internally within one company. The reason is simple: implementation-partner experience generally provides exposure to multiple clients, industries, business processes and implementation scenarios. You should ideally have worked on multiple Zoho implementation projects and be able to explain your specific role and contribution in those projects. Our Requirements We are looking for candidates with approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience working with a Zoho implementation partner , preferably in a role involving Zoho development, implementation, automation, integration or solution engineering. Experience working with a Zoho Authorized Partner / Zoho implementation partner is an important requirement for this position. Candidates should have experience working on client-facing Zoho implementation projects , rather than only using Zoho as an end-user or working on internal Zoho applications. Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Creator and Deluge is essential. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and third-party integrations is required. Experience with Zoho Inventory, JavaScript, Creator Widgets, Custom APIs or Extensions will be strongly valued. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be comfortable working directly with clients and be able to take ownership of a requirement from: Discovery → Solution Design → Development → Testing → UAT → Deployment → Handover A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Technology, Management or a related discipline is preferred. However, hands-on technical capability and relevant Zoho project experience will be given significant importance . Who Will Be a Good Fit? If you have worked with a Zoho Partner, are comfortable with Creator + Deluge + APIs , enjoy client-facing solution development and want to work on more advanced Zoho implementations, this role could be a strong fit for you. Education & Experience A B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent technical qualification is preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience is required, with preference for candidates who have spent at least two years in a Zoho implementation partner, consulting or system integration environment . Candidates with a strong track record of multiple complex implementations may be considered based on the depth and quality of their experience. Important This position is intended for a hands-on Zoho implementation and development professional . If your experience is primarily limited to Zoho administration, basic configuration, user management or simple workflow creation, this role may not be suitable. If, however, you have implemented Zoho for multiple businesses, developed custom applications, written complex Deluge scripts, integrated multiple Zoho applications, worked directly with clients and built widgets or extensions , we would be very interested in speaking with you.
