Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer role at Metaforms is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of Metaforms’ Agentic OS and related components. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual + automation testing across web applications and integrations, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and research operations teams to resolve issues. Given the pace of delivery this role is a healthy mix of Manual + Automations across multiple stacks - frontend/backend/AI evals. The Quality Assurance Engineer will also participate in refining QA processes, creating test documentation, and contributing to regression and release testing cycles. This role requires careful attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards for production systems used by global market research teams. Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing to validate end-to-end system functionality and reliability. - Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Automation and Test Execution to verify features, workflows, and integrations. - Candidates should possess the ability to design and maintain detailed Test Cases that cover functional, regression, and edge scenarios. - Experience with web-based applications, APIs, and data-driven systems; familiarity with market research or survey platforms is a plus. - Solid understanding of defect tracking, test documentation, and common QA tools; experience with issue trackers (e.g., Linear) is beneficial. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly about risks and findings. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Interest in AI-driven products and willingness to learn domain-specific workflows in market research operations.
