IT Platform Engineer -

Primary skills - Max. 3 1. Proven experience administering JFrog Artifactory (preferably SaaS) in production, with strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash) to automate Artifactory and related tooling, and a deep understanding of repository concepts, permission models and repository layouts for multiple ecosystems and Docker/OCI images. 2. Practical experience managing third party and open source dependencies across multiple ecosystems (e.g. Maven/Gradle, npm, PyPI, NuGet, Docker/OCI), including a solid understanding of how dependencies are resolved and cached and the risks associated with vulnerable or malicious packages. 3. Hands-on experience integrating artefact and dependency workflows with security tools (e.g. JFrog Xray, BlackDuck, CodeQL, SonarQube, Prisma Cloud) and GitHub Enterprise Cloud / GitHub Actions, embedding dependency and artefact checks into CI/CD (e.g. blocking builds, enforcing approvals, publishing to Artifactory). Secondary skills 1. Experience governing artefacts end-to-end, including applying approval, promotion, deprecation and clean-up processes, interpreting vulnerabilities, policy violations and licence issues, and translating these into concrete actions in Artifactory and CI/CD in line with existing security policies. 2. Strong automation, integration and observability skills, including experience with REST APIs (e.g. Artifactory/Xray) for automation, integration and reporting, integrating logs with platforms such as Elastic and creating actionable dashboards and metrics in tools such as Grafana (e.g. repository usage, vulnerability trends, policy violations). 3. Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and dependency flows from development through test to production, with experience working closely with both security and development teams to explain constraints and enable compliant solutions, plus strong written and spoken English and the ability to work independently and manage own workload. Good to have skills Experience in financial services or other regulated environments with audit requirements for software supply chain controls. Familiarity with open source licence compliance concepts. Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) to manage Artifactory or related infrastructure. Knowledge of broader DevOps/platform topics (Kubernetes, cloud platforms) sufficient to understand how artefacts are used in runtime environments.
