Java Developer

- Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. - Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. - Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. - Be a productive member of the team. Requirements - 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot. - Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services. - Strong understanding of JPA, design patterns, object-oriented programming, and system design principles. - Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps. - Experience with Git or other version control systems. - Good knowledge of Maven and/or Gradle build tools. - Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a positive, ownership-driven approach. - Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional engineering team. - Exposure to Microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Basic knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms. - Frontend development exposure using React or Angular. - Experience with NoSQL databases. - Exposure to containerization or modern cloud-native development practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business and technical requirements and implement effective application solutions. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services. - Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Java/J2EE code. - Participate in application architecture, technical design, and solution discussions. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and technical issues within defined timelines. - Follow established coding standards, development best practices, and engineering guidelines. - Develop and maintain unit and integration testing strategies to ensure application quality. - Provide Level II production support, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver assigned features within agreed timelines. - Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes. - Collaborate with Application Architects and senior engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent bachelor's degree.
