Mainframe Developer

Description We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe application development and maintenance, with a focus on COBOL and JCL. In this role, you will work closely with various teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and IMS DB and IMS DC. - Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues in mainframe applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. - Implement enhancements and optimizations to existing mainframe systems. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment. Skills and Qualifications - 4-12 years of experience in mainframe development. - Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and IMS DB and IMS DC - Experience with CICS and VSAM. - Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing. - Familiarity with tools such as Endevor, CA7, and other mainframe utilities. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - looking for only Immediate joiners Skills: Ims Db, Ims Dc, Cobol Experience: 4.00-12.00 Years
