IBM i Developer / Production Support Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 (IBM iSeries), COBOL, DB2 and SQL professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AS400, COBOL, DB2 and SQL system support and application development, with the ability to handle support issues efficiently while contributing to development projects Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support for AS400 systems, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance tuning Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400/IBMi applications using RPG, CL, and other relevant languages Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions Assist in system upgrades, patching, and migration activities Document procedures, configurations, and code changes Monitor system health and ensure high availability and security Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed Required Skills & Qualifications: Years of Experience : 6- 10 yrs Proven experience with AS400 / IBM iSeries systems Strong programming skills in RPG, COBOL, CL, SQL, DB2 and DDS Experience in system support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Knowledge of modern development tools and integration techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Prior experience in support and development roles is preferred Skills: Cl, Ibm Iseries, Rpg, Sql, DDS, As400, Cobol, Db2 Experience: 6.00-10.00 Years
