Automation Test Lead

Description Automation Test Engineer Location: Bangalore, Kochi, Trivandrum, Chennai Experience: 15-18 years Reporting to: Test Manager About the Role IBS Software is looking for experienced Automation Testing professionals who are passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-quality test automation solutions. In this role, you will drive automation strategy, develop robust frameworks, and ensure flawless delivery across complex enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop automation test scripts using Selenium and TestNG . - Define and implement automation frameworks aligned with project goals. - Identify and prioritize test cases suitable for automation. - Execute automated test suites and analyse results to ensure product quality. - Develop and maintain Web Services and API automation using SOAP UI or similar tools. - Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, ANT) . - Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to improve test coverage and efficiency. - Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts for new automation tools and approaches. - Prepare and present automation execution reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations. - Continuously maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reusability. Required Skills - 15 years of experience in Selenium Automation with Java . - Expertise in TestNG and Automation Framework design, maintenance, and optimization . - Strong hands-on experience in SOAP UI and API automation . - Good knowledge of Jenkins , Maven , or ANT for CI/CD integration. - Understanding of DevOps workflows and continuous testing practices. - Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. - Experience in effort estimation and contributing to test planning. Nice to Have - Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments. - Working knowledge of DevOps tools and cloud-based testing setups. - Prior onshore experience or direct customer engagement .
