Job Description

Job Purpose Part of the team managing the Risk Management Central Office to provide effective control environment, Governance and Risk strategy support to the Risk function Key Accountabilities Delivering effective Stress testing and Portfolio Monitoring function. Strengthening Portfolio Management function and ensuring quality submission of portfolio insights and metrics. Effectively managing Risk Committee meetings Ensuring regulatory compliance through timely updates to Credit risk policies and implementation of required process changes Job Duties, responsibilities and Requirements Conduct Stress tests and thematic portfolio reviews in consultation with group CPRAM and the Credit Underwriting teams. Enable effective Portfolio Management through tracking of key metrics and supporting Risk Governance through preparation of Portfolio presentations and other submissions to risk management committees such as Credit Risk Committee, GCRC, BRMC, Group Risk Exco, etc. Manage Risk committees by ensuring risk issues are effectively brought out in the agenda decks and key takeaways/ minutes are recorded, disseminated and follow-up action is effectively tracked. Ensure compliance with Credit Risk related regulatory requirements through Credit Policy, timely submission of ICAAP (Pillar 2 assessment and Stress test), Tranche II & III submission and LFAR. Draft and ensure regular review of Credit policies in line with RBI regulation. Oversee all aspects of operational risk management for Credit Risk as UORM. Support ongoing projects/strategic initiatives and take up other RMG COO activities based on requirements that may arise from time to time. Experience 14-15 years of adequate knowledge of various banking products and local regulatory requirements. Ability to understand diverse requirements, adapt and implement solutions Education / Preferred Qualifications Professional qualification or CA, Post graduate degree, preferably in business, accountancy, economics, finance etc. Core Competencies The job holder needs to possess the following skills: Ability to multitask and collaborate with key stake holders. Ability to assess complex requirements and find solutions to address the same. High Adaptability and learning skills. Good interpersonal skills. Good analytical and presentation skills Technical Competencies Good knowledge about Credit risk management techniques. Good understanding of regulatory guidelines on credit issued by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general.
