You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure our Android and iOS applications deliver a reliable and seamless user experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys finding issues before users do, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in growing their automation skills alongside manual testing expertise. What You'll Do • Test consumer-facing mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. • Create and execute test cases for new features, bug fixes, and product releases. • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing. • Validate analytics events and user tracking implementations. • Test APIs using tools such as Postman. • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. • Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and improve product quality. • Contribute to automation efforts for repetitive and regression test scenarios. • Participate in release testing and support production verification activities. What We're Looking For • 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. • Experience testing B2C consumer-facing mobile applications. • Good understanding of manual testing concepts and software QA processes. • Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios. • Basic exposure to mobile automation tools such as Appium, Maestro, Detox, or equivalent automation frameworks. • Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. • Basic SQL knowledge and ability to query databases for data validation. • Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript and/or Python. • Good debugging and analytical skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. • Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred • Experience with Firebase, Mixpanel, BrowserStack, Charles Proxy, or similar tools. • Exposure to analytics/event testing. • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. What Success Looks Like • Consistently identifies issues before production releases. • Delivers thorough test coverage for new features. • Contributes to improving regression testing efficiency. • Works effectively with engineering and product teams. • Continuously improves testing skills and automation capabilities.
