About the role The IT Administrator will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires hands-on management of network systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Key responsibilities - Manage and maintain network hardware and software, including routers and switches. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime. - Implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive information. - Provide technical support and training to staff on IT-related matters. - Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations. - Document network configurations and changes for future reference. - Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance network efficiency. Required qualifications - CCNA certification is mandatory. - 7-8 years of experience in IT administration or a related field. - Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Nice to have - Experience with cloud technologies and virtual networking. - Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and tools. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
