Head - Cloud Infrastructure & Security

Key Responsibilities: - Lead the cloud engineering team, setting strategic direction and establishing best practices for cloud adoption, architecture, and operations. - Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions to meet business needs. Evaluate and choose the best cloud platforms and tools. - Oversee the migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. - Manage and optimize cloud resources including compute, storage, and networking to ensure high availability and performance. - Implement and manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code using tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. - Develop and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting cloud environments from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other threats. - Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud systems. Identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, security, development, and product teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions. - Implement cost optimization strategies to control cloud spending and drive value from cloud investments. - Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. Propose innovative solutions to improve the organizations cloud capabilities. - Mentor, coach, and develop cloud engineering talent within the team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Job Requirements: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology - 20+ Years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable. - Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) and cloud-native technologies, including microservices, serverless architectures, and containerization - Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automation - Proficient in cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance standards. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues - Proven ability to lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing engineering team. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
