Job Description

QA Performance Engineer Experience: 3–5 years Notice Period: Immediate Location: Hyderabad Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and spike tests using Apache JMeter . - Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers. - Define performance testing strategies, workload models, and acceptance criteria based on business and non-functional requirements. - Create reusable and maintainable JMeter test scripts for web applications, REST APIs, and microservices. - Monitor application performance using APM and infrastructure monitoring tools during test execution. - Analyze test results and prepare detailed performance reports with observations, root cause analysis, and recommendations. - Collaborate with developers, DevOps, database administrators, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues. - Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous performance testing. - Validate system scalability, stability, and reliability under expected and peak workloads. - Participate in performance tuning discussions and recommend improvements to application architecture and infrastructure. - Maintain performance testing documentation, scripts, and test data. Required Skills - 4–6 years of experience in performance testing and engineering. - Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter . - Experience designing and executing load, stress, endurance (soak), and spike tests. - Experience testing REST APIs , web applications, and microservices. - Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, and API performance testing. - Experience analyzing server-side metrics such as CPU, memory, disk I/O, network utilization, and thread usage. - Knowledge of SQL for database validation and performance analysis. - Familiarity with application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus. - Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Strong scripting knowledge for test parameterization, correlation, and custom logic using Groovy or BeanShell in JMeter. - Experience with Git and version control. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
