Key Responsibilities: Linux System Administration - Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu Pro or RHEL/CentOS) in production and staging environments. - Configure and secure SFTP, SAMBA, and NFS services for file sharing and data integration. - Perform OS hardening, patch management, and automation using scripts or configuration management tools. - Manage user accounts, permissions, firewalls, system logs, and process monitoring. - Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and service issues across infrastructure layers. Web/Application Server Management - Install, configure, and tune Apache Tomcat and Nginx for high-performance web and application hosting. - Deploy WAR files and configure server.xml for Tomcat tuning. - Setup reverse proxy, load balancing, and SSL termination in Nginx. Cloud DevOps (AWS) - Manage EC2 instances, EBS volumes, and SSH access. - Configure VPC subnets, route tables, security groups, and ELB (Application & Network Load Balancers). - Setup IAM roles, policies, cross-account access. - Manage S3 storage, bucket policies, and lifecycle rules. - Setup and mount EFS, configure Route 53 DNS. Optional / Preferred - Automation using Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. - Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch. Skills: Nfs, Samba, Sftp, Linux Administration Experience: 1.00-6.00 Years
