Job Description
Senior Full-Stack Developer — Next.js / Supabase Remote • Ongoing • Long-Term We are building a custom technology platform that powers our artists, clients, bookings, event production, communications, and finances. The core application is already live — now we're looking for a senior full-stack developer to take ownership and help us finish, improve, and scale it. The Stack - Next.js / App Router - TypeScript - Tailwind CSS - Supabase / PostgreSQL / Auth / RLS / Storage - Vercel - Twilio, Resend, BILL, OpenAI - React Native / Expo planned for mobile What You'll Do Phase 1 — Finish the Platform Complete the remaining client and financial systems, including: - Client portal - Event & music planning - Timelines and documents - Training portal - QuickBooks integration - Financial dashboards - Workflow automation - Reporting Phase 2 — Own & Scale It Once the platform is complete, you'll become a key technical owner — maintaining the system, fixing issues, shipping new features, and continuously improving the product as our team uses it in real-world operations. What We're Looking For You should be comfortable taking over an existing production codebase — not rebuilding it. We need someone who: - Is strong with Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Supabase - Understands RLS and role-based permissions - Can read, understand, and extend another developer's work - Writes clean, maintainable code - Documents technical decisions and implementation details - Communicates clearly in English on video calls - Can explain why they built something a certain way - Works well from ClickUp tasks with defined acceptance criteria - Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told every step How We Work We move fast, but we don't operate chaotically. You'll work directly with the project owner and project manager. Work is broken into small, reviewable milestones, with clear objectives and acceptance criteria. We value visible progress, clean documentation, thoughtful engineering, and accountability. No disappearing for two weeks and showing up with a giant PR. We want to see the work evolve through commits and regular updates. One Important Thing This is not a greenfield project. You're taking over a live application built by another developer. The architecture is solid and the infrastructure is clean, but documentation is partial. We expect a ramp-up period and have budgeted for it. If your first instinct when joining an existing codebase is to say, "I'd rebuild this differently," this probably isn't the right role. If your instinct is, "Let me understand what they've built, identify what's working, and make it better," we want to hear from you. Long-Term Opportunity After the web platform is complete, we're planning a native mobile application using React Native / Expo on the same backend. This is intended to be an ongoing relationship for the right developer — not a one-off project. To Apply Tell us: - What is the most complex existing codebase you've taken over? - What did your first two weeks look like? - How many hours per week are you available? - What is your hourly or project rate? We're looking for a senior developer who wants to take ownership, build something real, and stay with it long term. Skills:- Javascript, React.js, NextJs (Next.js), Supabase, PostgreSQL, RLS, Communication Skills and English Proficiency
