This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 3500000 (ie INR 20-35 LPA) Experience: 12+ yrs Location: Bengaluru Job Type: full-time We are seeking a Senior Power BI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale business intelligence and analytics solutions. This role focuses on architecting end-to-end BI platforms, including data integration, semantic modeling, visualization, governance, and performance optimization. You will serve as a trusted advisor for analytics strategy, working closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and cloud architects to build scalable, secure, and insight-driven solutions. Requirements Key Responsibilities - Define and implement enterprise BI architecture, standards, and best practices. - Design and optimize Power BI-led analytics solutions across complex business environments. - Lead data modeling, semantic layer development, metric governance, and reporting frameworks. - Collaborate with data engineering and cloud teams to integrate BI platforms with Azure-based ecosystems. - Drive BI modernization, cloud transformation, and analytics platform optimization initiatives. - Ensure scalability, security, performance, and governance across BI solutions. - Guide stakeholders in translating business requirements into effective analytics and reporting solutions. - Mentor and coach BI teams on modern analytics, semantic modeling, and AI-ready BI practices. - Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, accelerators, and thought leadership initiatives. - Lead report rationalization, cost optimization, and executive decision-support platform initiatives. - Promote adoption of AI-enabled analytics, automated insights, anomaly detection, and narrative BI capabilities. What Makes You a Great Fit - 15+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Platform architecture. - Deep expertise in Power BI, data modeling, semantic layers, and SQL. - Strong experience leading enterprise-scale BI transformation and modernization programs. - Hands-on knowledge of Azure data and analytics ecosystems. - Experience with large-scale deployments of BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker. - Strong understanding of analytics governance, KPI frameworks, and performance optimization. - Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive data-driven decision-making. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills. - Experience in AI-enabled BI, insight automation, and advanced analytics initiatives is highly desirable. - Proven leadership ability with a track record of mentoring teams and building analytics capabilities at scale.
