Job Description
Key Responsibilities 1. Agile Facilitation & SAFe Governance Ceremony Mastery: Lead and facilitate all standard Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand- ups (DSUs), Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. SAFe Implementation: Lead the preparation and execution of Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions, including managing dependencies across teams and drafting PI Objectives. Reporting: Ownership of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs) for leadership, highlighting velocity, burn-down, risks, and blockers. 2. Azure DevOps (ADO) Expert Administration Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain sophisticated ADO Dashboards to track team health, sprint progress, and quality metrics. Advanced Querying: Write and manage complex WIQL (Work Item Query Language) queries to pull custom data for ad-hoc reporting and bottleneck analysis. Backlog Hygiene: Ensure work items are properly structured (Epic > Feature > User Story) and that all metadata fields are accurately maintained for reporting accuracy. 3. Data Engineering Project Management Data Assessment: Perform initial data assessments by understanding source-to- target mappings, table structures, and column-level details. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications. Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between stakeholders and engineers; you should be comfortable discussing ETL pipelines, SQL tables, and data validation rules. Required Skills & Qualifications Category Requirement Agile Expertise - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) with experience in large-scale environments. Tooling - Expert-level knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO), specifically Dashboards, Queries, and Wiki. Data Literacy - Basic understanding of Data Engineering concepts: SQL, Databases, Tables, Columns, and Data Flow. Analytical Skills - Ability to translate raw project data into actionable insights for the team and stakeholders. Soft Skills - Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence without authority. Preferred Experience Experience working on Cloud Data Migrations (Azure/AWS/GCP). Prior experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst before moving into Scrum. Knowledge of automation within ADO (e.g., automated alerts or triggers).
