Software Development Engineer in Test - I

- Breakdown high level business cases into achievable/traceable/executable automation and manual test cases. - Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated scripts, data sets and other test data required to execute test plans. - Perform functional testing, API Testing and integration testing of features. - Perform regression testing every sprint and is responsible for raising defects and maintaining defect logs. - Be responsible for test case reviews and test case repository. - Monitor and capture logs to document testing phases and defects. - Be responsible for sharing daily and weekly test results. - Effectively utilize code and test management tools like Gitlab and JIRA - Liaising with stakeholders and communicating the business impact of defects to the team. HERES WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: - Strong concepts in Java, APPIUM and Mobile App Automation frameworks. - Inclination towards breaking systems apart and willingness to dive deep to debug - Experience with Git - Familiarity with AGILE way of working, not a deal breaker - Well versed with testing methodologies - Experience with ALM/JIRA and Postman - Great aptitude, energy, and communication is what we are looking for. - You will need to work out of our office space with mostly harmless folks in Bengaluru WHAT YOU BRING TO ATHER : - 2 to 4 years of experience with Mobile App Automation. - Hands on experience with API testing. - Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. - ISTQB - Foundation Level Certification. - Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field. Skills: Git, Api Testing, Mobile App Testing, Istqb Certification, Software Development, Jira, Software Testing Experience: 2.00-4.00 Years
