Gurgaon Full time R000109864 **Job Description:** **Responsibilities** + Develop modern user-facing features using React.js. + Design and build responsive, scalable, and reusable UI components. + Translate wireframes and business requirements into high-quality code. + Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (preferred) or Java/Spring Boot. + Build end-to-end solutions across UI, services, databases, and integrations. + Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability. + Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. + Participate in design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support. + Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment. **Technical Skills** + Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. + Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. + Experience with React Hooks, Redux/Context API, and component-based architecture. + Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT. + Strong experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C# (preferred) or Java, Spring Boot. + Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices. + Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles. + Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. + Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus. + Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines. + Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. + Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. + Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. **Good to Have** + Experience with TypeScript, Storybook, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. + Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Microservices Architecture. + Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. + Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and messaging platforms (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ). **AI-Assisted Development (Good to Have)** + Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI development tools. + Exposure to AI-assisted code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, documentation, and debugging. + Understanding of responsible and secure use of AI tools in software development. **Non-Technical Skills** + Team player. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Good time-management and stakeholder management skills. **Relevant work experience: 7+ years** . **Location:** This position can be based in any of the following locations: Gurgaon **Current Guardian Colleagues: Please apply through the internal Jobs Hub in Workday** Every day, Guardian helps our 29 million customers realize their dreams through a range of insurance and financial products and services.
