GIS Developer

GIS Developer - India An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced GIS Developer to join a market-leading organisation in data centre construction. Based in India, you will support the delivery of complex, high-profile data centre and infrastructure projects as part of an established team of geospatial professionals. You will develop, deploy and support enterprise GIS applications while helping to standardise spatial processes across the organisation. Key responsibilities - Develop and maintain enterprise GIS applications and spatial solutions. - Administer, architect and deploy Enterprise ArcGIS environments. - Build solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, FME and the Esri JavaScript API. - Develop ETL workflows, integrations and automation using Python and JavaScript. - Configure and support VertiGIS Studio and related GIS products. - Test, debug, troubleshoot and maintain GIS applications. - Develop automated tests and contribute to quality-assurance strategies. - Produce clear technical and user documentation. - Apply modern DevOps principles and agile software-development practices. - Respond promptly to support requests and technical issues. - Collaborate with GIS colleagues and wider project delivery teams. - Help establish consistent GIS standards, processes and governance. - Work in accordance with applicable safety, legal and regulatory requirements. About you You will bring: - A tertiary qualification in GIS, remote sensing, geomatics, surveying, applied geography or a related discipline. - Experience administering Enterprise ArcGIS environments. - Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS. - Experience developing GIS solutions using FME, ETL processes and Esri applications. - Strong Python and JavaScript development skills. - Experience with the Esri JavaScript API 4.x. - Knowledge of VertiGIS Studio products. - Experience with software testing and test automation. - An understanding of DevOps principles and agile delivery. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and technical-documentation abilities. - A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to manage your own workload. Experience with Geocortex, OpenLayers, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON or SQL would be advantageous. Why join?
