Accessibility Testing with WCAG

Description We are looking for an experienced Accessibility Testing Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WCAG guidelines and a passion for making digital content accessible to everyone. Responsibilities - Conduct accessibility audits of web applications and digital content to ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines. - Develop and execute test cases to identify accessibility issues across various platforms and devices. - Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to provide recommendations for improving accessibility features. - Create detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies for accessibility issues. - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accessibility laws and guidelines. Skills and Qualifications - 6-9 years of experience in accessibility testing and evaluation with a strong focus on WCAG compliance. - Proficiency in using accessibility testing tools such as Axe, JAWS, NVDA, and others. - Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience in manual and automated testing methods for accessibility. - Excellent communication skills to effectively share findings with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Familiarity with assistive technologies and their usage in web applications.
