Android Developer - Goregaon West

Designation - Android Developer Location - Goregaon West ( Mumbai Based Candidates only ) Qualification - Any Graduate Skills - Kotlin / Java / Jetpack Components / Firebase / Retrofit/ Room database Experience - 2+ Years We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining Android applications. You should be proficient in Kotlin and Java, have a strong understanding of Android SDK, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: ● Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. ● Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc.). ● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. ● Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. ● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. ● Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. ● Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. ● Stay up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, tools, and frameworks. Required Skills and Qualifications: ● 2 –5 years of professional Android development experience. ● Proficient in Kotlin and Java. ● Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. ● Experience with MVVM/MVP architecture, Jetpack components, LiveData, ViewModel, etc. ● Knowledge of Firebase, Room Database, and Retrofit/OkHttp. ● Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and agile development processes. ● Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store. ● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Additional Qualifications: ● Experience with Jetpack Compose. ● Familiarity with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and UI testing frameworks. ● Understanding of security best practices in mobile development. ● Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs.
