Sr Quality Engineer(Transformers Radiator)

Position: Quality Control Engineer Division: Transformer Radiator Manufacturing Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Role Overview We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to ensure that our transformer radiator products consistently meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of welding, fabrication, dimensional inspection, leak/pressure testing, and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems . Key Responsibilities - Conduct stage-wise quality inspection of shearing, fin forming, welding, painting and assembly processes. - Check dimensions, tolerances, weld quality and surface finish as per drawings/specifications. - Inspect incoming steel sheets, tubes, headers, fasteners and other raw materials . - Verify material test certificates, specifications and dimensions. - Perform final inspection, including leak testing, pressure testing and dimensional verification . - Monitor seam, spot and arc welding quality and ensure compliance with WPS . - Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality logs and NCRs . - Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and reduction of rejection/rework. - Ensure proper calibration and control of Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Pressure Gauge and other measuring instruments. - Support ISO 9001:2015 audits, customer inspections, third-party inspections and quality-related customer queries . - Coordinate with Production, Welding, Design, Store and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.
