WIFI CPE Testing

Key Responsibilities: - Test planning Manual and Automation Test Execution Automation Test Scripting using Python and Reporting for CPE Broadband Cable modem and Wi Fi Devices - Interact with multiple Stakeholders Project Manager Technical contract management teams and Vendors across the board to for connectivity CPE certification - Identification and Resolution of Field Issues and Defects Issue Reproduction Triaging Investigation Troubleshooting Issue Resolution and Defect Tracking to Closure - CPE Lab setup Lab management for Broadband CPEs Wireless Gateways and Extenders Technical Requirements: - Knowledge of Telecom Cable Technologies and Products - Experience in writing Automation Scripts using Python for Network devices Cable Modem WiFi Routers - Strong understanding and experience with Network protocols including TCP IP DNS DHCP VLANs routing protocols WiFi 6 6E and 7 DOCSIS 3 - 0 and 3 - 1 standards - Good knowledge of CPE testing for Functional Regression Sanity for voice data RDKB and Docsis features - Develop wireless network infrastructure and make recommendations on system enhancements for optimization - Familiarity with Linux Unix working environment - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Hands on experience in WiFi Ruckus SmartZone Cambium cnMaestro BNG BRAS testing Cisco IOS XE and Ruckus FastIron switch testing may be helpful - Certifications like Certified Wireless Network Professional CWNP or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Wireless CCIE Wireless may be helpful Additional Responsibilities: - 4 to 6 years working experience in Manual and Automation Device Testing troubleshooting experience in RF network and in Cable domain including Wi Fi Voice DOCSIS Cable Modems Preferred Skills: Technology->Network->Cable-DOCSIS,Technology->Network->CPE Network Testing,Technology->Network->WIFI Technologies Skills: Python Experience: 4.00-6.00 Years
