Deputy Manager - Electrical

Responsibilities a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Project Execution - Execute electrical project activities in Thermal Power Plant projects. - Monitor installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment. - Ensure compliance with project schedules, technical specifications, and safety standards. - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, consultants, and site teams. - Track project progress and resolve technical issues during execution. Electrical Systems Management - Oversee installation and commissioning of: - Generators - Transformers - Switchgear (HT/LT) - GIS/AIS Switchyards - Bus Ducts - Motors and MCCs - UPS, Battery Systems & Chargers - Electrical Protection Systems - Plant Lighting Systems - Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems Testing & Commissioning - Review and execute testing procedures and commissioning plans. - Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. - Coordinate with OEMs and consultants during equipment testing. - Ensure successful synchronization and system integration activities. Contract & Vendor Management - Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors. - Review contractor bills and certify work completion. - Monitor contract compliance, progress, and performance. - Coordinate with vendors for technical discussions and issue resolution. Planning & Documentation - Prepare project schedules and progress reports. - Review engineering drawings and technical documents. - Ensure timely submission of reports, MIS, and project documentation. - Facilitate punch point closure and project handover activities. Safety & Quality - Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations. - Implement quality control procedures during execution. - Conduct risk assessments and corrective actions. - Promote safe work practices at project sites. Qualifications Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Exp- 6-12 Years
