Job Description – Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing) Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual Testing Experience: 3+ Years Location: Delhi Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual testing. Exposure to automation testing is a strong advantage and offers opportunities to contribute to test automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test strategies. - Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. - Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. - Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools. - Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to resolve issues. - Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Ensure product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Maintain comprehensive test documentation and QA reports. - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. - Assist in automation testing initiatives whenever required. Required Skills - 3+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing. - Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. - Hands-on experience in writing test cases, test plans, and defect reports. - Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps. - Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Good understanding of SQL for database validation. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) - Basic to intermediate knowledge of Automation Testing. - Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools. - Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. - Knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant QA or automation certifications are an added advantage.
